Saudi Arabia is coming up with a new action role against the hijab ban during the examination. It was announced on 16th December 2022 by the Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Commission ETEC. Saudi Arabia students cannot wear the abaya in the exam hall. We know that the Muslim community is higher in North African countries, and the decision may not be acceptable.

Right now, the decision is not taken back; it still has been implemented due to clear instructions against Saudi Arabia’s ban on hijabs in exam centers.

The announcement comes at a time when some Muslim organizations in India have termed similar action taken by school authorities as ‘Islamophobic’.

According to the ETEC. Not only educational institutions, other education training centers and coaching institutions follow the same rule that the ETEC team has set.

Abaya is widely worn in Saudi Arabia, the same as “the burqa” in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
