TS Edcet syllabus 2023: Telangana State conducted TS EDCET in English, Telugu, and Urdu, those who already appeared TS EDCET examination can check the complete analysis of the examination based on candidates’ performance and exam attendance with TS EDCET qualifying marks.

The TS EDCET exam has the below syllabus as per TS EDCET notification and checks the complete syllabus was given in detail with the number of questions and number of marks from Part-A, Part-B, and Part-C levels.

TS Edcet 2023 Syllabus

The TS EDCET Question paper will be in Telugu, English, and Urdu medium only. Those who choose the ENGLISH Subject can answer English in English medium only, there is no other medium that will be applicable.

TS EDCET Exam Pattern

Check the complete TS EDCET Syllabus, were given in Part-A, Part-B and Part-C wise in detailed format give, all EDCET candidates have to check the complete syllabus and choose the Part-C subject after reviewing the part- C syllabus, check the Part-C syllabus in below, which has been listed.

PART-A:  GENERAL ENGLISH
1. Reading Comprehension.
2. Correction of Sentences, Articles, Prepositions, Tenses, Spelling, Voice.
3. Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms.
4. Transformation of Sentences- Simple, Compound and Complex. Direct Speech and Indirect Speech.

PART-B: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & TEACHING APTITUDE
1. Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate‟s general knowledge of the
environment around him and its application to society.
2. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday
observation and experience in their scientific outlook as is expected of an educated person.
3. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining
to History, Culture, Geography, Ecology, Economics, General Policy, and Scientific Research.
4. Teaching requires certain characteristics like the ability to communicate, ability to deal with Children, ability to recognizing individual differences etc. A part from analytical thinking and general intelligence.

PART-C: Elective for Candidates, can choose anyone
1. Mathematics (MS)
2. Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)(PS)
3. Biological Sciences (Botany and Zoology) (BS)
4. Social Studies (Geography, History, Civics and Economics) (SS)
(For these four subjects Syllabus shall be of graduation level (revised common core degree syllabus)
5. English [Special English in B.A.]

The Syllabus for Part C for Subject: English shall cover
a) Syllabus pertaining to English for Classes VIII , IX and X and that for the Two- Year
Intermediate course of A.P-50 Questions (50Marks)

  • iii) Grammar
  • iv) Phrasal Verbs (idioms)
  • v) Writing skills
  • vi) Study skills
  • vii) Reference skills
