Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme

According to Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, about 10 lakh marriages were done with government support under the Kalyana Lakshmi plan. This was a testament to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged. The country looked to Kalyana Lakshmi, KCR Kit, Rythu Bandhu, and Rythu Bheema as role models. He said that they could be tracked across the nation.

The Rythu Bandhu program was criticized by opposition parties who said it was being implemented as a political ploy. 50,400 crore rupees have been deposited into farmers’ accounts in the State as a result of this program so far in eight editions, he claimed. Even though the covid pandemic affected the entire world, the Chief Minister made sure that assistance programs were implemented in the State without interference, the Minister noted.
