Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Group II

APPSC Group 2 Physical Standards

For Post No#7

a) FOR MEN:
i) Must not be less than 165 Cm. in height.
ii) Must not be less than 81 Cms. round the Chest on full expiration with a minimum expansion of 5 Cm.

b) FOR WOMEN:
i) Must not be less than 152.5 Cm. in height.
ii) Must not weigh less than 45.5 Kg.
c) Vision standards as per G.O.Ms.No.147, Finance (HR.I.Plg.Policy) Department, dated: 06.08.2016 is applicable.

APPSC Group 2 Exam Scheme

• Screening Test in objective type questions, this test is only for those qualified for the Mains examination and screening test marks will not be counted
• The main candidates are shortlisted for screening test performance based on the availability of posts and the number of candidates who attended the exam.
• Mains exam marks will be considered for final selection.
• Mains exam will be in online CBT mode in objective questions type.

APPSC Group 2 Syllabus

The APPSC Group 2 Examination was conducted in both the Preliminary test and mains examination, the preliminary test has 150 marks for the qualified purpose only and the main examination has 450 marks, which will be counted for the final selection process.

• The candidates need to enter their details in the form which appears on the page
• After the details are entered they need to upload the required documents which are requested for
• Next, the application fees need to be submitted
• In the final stage, the application form needs to be submitted.

Age Limit – Should have 18 to 44 years as of 01.07.2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules and regulations.

• For OBC – 3 years
• For SC/ ST – 5 years
• For PWD – 10 years
• For Ex-Serviceman – 3 years.

Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern

The Group II Services 2024 exam selection procedure includes 3 steps;

• Written Examination
• Interview
• Document Verification
• The Aspiring candidates for Group II 2024 services need to appear for a written examination on three papers
• The Three Papers are;
• Paper I includes General Studies
• Paper II includes an Overview of the Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, and Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh
• Paper III includes Development and Problems in Rural Society concerning Andhra Pradesh
• All three papers carry 150 marks respectively and the time limit is 150 min for each paper
• The candidates who are shortlisted in the written test will be called for an Interview which carries 50 marks
• In the Interview round, the shortlisted candidates will be tested on their attitude and decision-making skills
• The shortlisted candidates from the interview round need to produce their documents for verification
