Educational Qualifications
Candidates must and should have a Bachelors Degree with Statistics as one of the main subject or Bachelors Degree with Mathes or Bachelors Degree with Economics or Bachelors Degree with Commerce or Bachelors Degree with Computer Science.
Age Limit
- Candidate age limit should be in between min of 18 and also max of 42 years as on 01.07.2022. And age relaxation will be applicable as per the candidate’s reservation wise.
- OBC and SC/ST Candidates have 5 years.
- Physically Handicapped Candidates have 10 years.
Application Fee
- GEN/OC/OBC/BC Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- towards application and also Rs 80/- towards Processing Fee.
- No application fee for SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Servicemen candidates.

APPSC ASO Selection procedure as per APPSC rules and guidelines, the Assistant Statistical Officer ASO Selection Procedure as follows;
- Screening Test CBT (Computer Based Test/Online)
- Online Mains Examination
- Merit List.Selection for Document Verification in 1:2 or 1:3 ratio
APPSC ASO Exam Scheme
There are two examinations in APPSC ASO selection procedure,
- Screening Test (Preliminary Examination for qualify purpose)
- Mains Examination ( Selection Purpose )

- There will be a 1/3rd negative mark for every wrong answer
- 1 marks for every correct answer.
