TNTET Syllabus: Tamilnadu Recruitment Board TRB is scheduled to release the TNTET notification for the recruitment of the Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test. Those who are interested in classes 1 to 8  and other higher classes have to qualify for the TN TET in Tamilnadu state. The school prefers the TN TET-qualified candidates for School standards from 1 to VIII classes.

TN TET Paper 1 Syllabus

Tamilnadu TET has two question papers for TET qualifying in nature;

• Paper 1 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

TN TET Paper 2 Syllabus

• Paper 2 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

1. Child Development and pedagogy will focus on Educational Psychology of Teaching and Learning, relevant to the age group of 6 – 11 years.
2. Language I will focus on the proficiencies related to the Medium of Instruction. The candidate has to choose any one of the languages mentioned in Sl.No.(ii) above in Paper-I table. For the recruitment process candidates shall be eligible for the vacancies in the concerned medium only
3. Language II English will focus on the elements of language, communication, and comprehension abilities.
4. Mathematics and Environmental Studies will focus on the concepts, problem-solving abilities, and pedagogical understanding of these subjects.
5. The questions in the TET Paper I will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the State for Classes I – V but their difficulty level as well as linkages will be up to the Secondary Stage.
6. The questions in the test Paper-II will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the State for Classes VI-VIII but their difficulty level as well as linkages will be up to the Senior Secondary (Higher Secondary) Stage.
