UPSC NDA Notification: Union Public Service Commission UPSC released an online application for National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination and Indian Statistical Service Examination, eligible candidates have to submit the online applications before the last date.

Eligibility

• Candidates must and should finish the 12th class / minimum pass required.
• Should be Indian national.
• Candidates should be under the specified age limit.

UPSC NDA 2023 Salary

Selected candidate is eligible for the UPSC NDA salary, as per the below structure; Rs 56,100/- p.m. (Starting pay in Level 10).

The UPSC NDA Salaries are varied as per the category post standard wise, which are;

For Military services salary Rs 15,500 p.m.

• Lt – Level 10: Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-
• Capt – Level 10 B : Rs.61,300-1,93,900/-
• Maj – Level 11 : Rs.69,400 –2,07,200/-

Lt Colonel to Major General

• Lt Col – Level 12A : Rs.1,21,200 –2,12,400
• Col – Level 13 : Rs.1,30,600-2,15,900
• Brig – Level 13A : Rs.1,39,600-2,17,600
• Maj Gen – Level 14 : Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200

Lt Gen AG Scale

• Level 15 : Rs.1, 82, 200-2,24,100/-

HAG + Scale

• Level 16 Rs.2,05,400 – 2,24,400/-

VCOAS/ Army Cdr/ LtGen (NFSG)

UPSC NDA Exam Pattern

The UPSC NDA exam is conducted for 900 marks including interview and personality test.

The UPSC NDA exam will be conducted across India, almost all major and minor cities are included in the exam center list.

NDA Educational Qualifications

• For the Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates should complete the 10+2 or 12th Class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy: Candidates should complete the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

NDA Age Limit

• Candidates’ age limit will depend, the born not earlier than 02nd July 2000 and not later than 1st July 2003.
• Above said dates are eligible for both NDA and NA vacancy posts.

Application Fee

The eligible candidates have to pay the online application fee as per candidates’ reservation wise,

• For General/UR/OC and OBC Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- and SC/ST Candidates have no online application fee for NDA/NA Posts.

NDA Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The NDA Syllabus will be as per below tabular form wise, both Paper codes 1 and 2 are objective questions only but the General ability test will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
