One Ration Card Scheme: Every ration cardholder can collect the ration from anywhere in India or any shop across India. India has already connected all ration cards via Biometric authentication (online process – Digitalised) on electronic Point of Sale (ePoS) devices that are already installed in the Fair Price Shop (FPS). The implementation is under the National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA).
The objective of NFSA is the development of the promotion of the sugar industry and warehouse sector and improvement of the public service system. The biometric authentic process started and it completed by year end.

- Single ration card is enough for the one time ration (monthly wise).
The Ration card applicants can avail of the ration anywhere in India by using ePos devices (online authentication process).
