Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have the below qualifications as per the post wise as on the notification date.
- Warders: Candidates should have 10th/SSC Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute.
- Jailors: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute and those who have completed Graduation in Sociology/Psychology/Criminology/Correctional Administration will be given preference.
Age Limit
- General/OC Candidates should have 20 to 26 years as on 09.03.2019.
- OBC/SC/ST Candidates should have 20 to 28 years as on 09.03.2019.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates are eligible to receive the pay scale as per Karnataka financial department,
- Jailors: Rs. 33,450/- to Rs. 62,600/- per month
- Warders: Rs. 21,400/- to Rs. 42,000/- per month
Application Fee
- Those who belong to OC and OBC category can pay an application fee Rs.250/-
- Those who belong to SC and ST category can pay application fee Rs.100/-
