Agneepath Recruitment 2023: Central government of India proposed a new scheme for the Armed force’s recruitment, “Agneepath Recruitment,” on a yearly based. It aims to provide the opportunity for the youth of India who are willing to join in the Indian armed forces. The recruitment scheme will be implemented on an immediate basis to release the immediate job notification and recruitment instructions.
Agneepath scheme is a defense policy reform and will come into effect immediately. The Ministry of Defense has said that the policy will regulate the recruitment of personnel below the rank of Officer (PBOR) in all three services.

Agneepath yojana is a new type of scheme, where candidates for the defense selections are made easy and comfortable for the next career. The details are listed as;
- Initially, candidates selected for the Agneepath were selected candidates called Agniveer.
- Selected candidates’ salaries will be fixed at Rs.30,000 (21,000 by hand and the other 9,000 will be added to the corpus fund, this corpus fund will be given to candidates after 4 years of them complete, and the total amount is 11.45 lakhs).

- PAN India’s selection procedure will be based on a 100% pure merit basis.
- The ‘Seva Nidhi’ package will be awarded for the monthly remuneration.
- 25% of Agniveers will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the armed forces.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit – 17.5 to 21 years
- Medical Eligibility required fitness
- Educational background is varied based on the type of post.
- Online centralized systems for one examination.
Agneepath Salary
- After the Training certificate will be provided.
- For those who are recruited as firefighters, Rs. 30,000 will be received of this Rs. 21,000 and 30% of their salary or Rs. 9,000 will be donated to the Agniveer Corpus Fund.
- Salary in the second year is Rs. 33,000, in the third year Rs. 36,500, and in the fourth year Rs. 40,000.
- Service Fund Package Rs. 11.71 lakhs.
- For the engagement period in Armed Forces Rs. 48 lakh non-contributory life insurance cover will be provided.
