AWW – Anganwadi WorkerRuns the Anganwadi Centre, provides preschool education, supports nutrition services, maintains records, identifies beneficiaries, conducts home visits, supports immunization and health activities, and coordinates with health workers.
AWH – Anganwadi HelperAssists the AWW, cleans and maintains the Anganwadi Centre, helps prepare and distribute supplementary nutrition, brings/assists children, supports preschool activities, and helps with daily centre operations.
MAW – Mini Anganwadi WorkerPerforms duties similar to an AWW but at a Mini Anganwadi Centre. Provides supplementary nutrition, preschool education, health and nutrition support, beneficiary identification, records, and community outreach.
SV – Supervisor (Mukhya Sevika)Supervises and guides AWWs/AWHs, monitors Anganwadi Centre functioning, checks registers and records, reviews nutrition and preschool activities, conducts field visits, provides training/support to workers, and reports progress to the CDPO.
CDPO – Child Development Project OfficerSupervises Anganwadi Centres, plans and monitors ICDS programmes, reviews reports and performance, coordinates with health/education departments, manages implementation, and reports to higher authorities.
