Karnataka State Police Selection Process: Karnataka police recruiting huge posts in both police constable and sub-inspector of polices (SI) for more than 4000 vacancies. The police selection process will be varied as per the post wise in both Police Constable and Sub Inspector of police posts. Karnataka State Police Selection Process

KSP has three levels of the selection process, which are listed below for candidates’ reference purposes,

• Written Test (Online or Offline Mode)
• PMT Events (Physically Measurements Test)
• PET Events (Physically Efficiency Test)

Selection Stage#1: Written Test

Those who are applied for the KSRP Police constable examination, have to attend the Written Examination. go through the above syllabus and exam pattern for the written examination point. Check the KSP Police constable’s Written exam pattern.

Police Stage#2:  PMT Events (Physically Measurements Test)

• Height: 170 cm. (tribal – 155cm)
• Chest: 86 cm with expansion. (tribal – 75 cm)

KSRP recruitment measures the candidate’s body measurement and records in live sessions at the venue location. Candidates should have a certain range of measurements in the body.

Police Stage#3:  PET Events (Physically Efficiency Test)

• Event#1: Running
  • 2 KM running in 10 minutes
  • Ex-SM 400 meters in 2 minutes
• Event#2: Long & High Jump
  • for Long Jump: Jump to 3.80 meters (three chances)
  • for High Jump: Jump to 1,20 meters (three chances)
• Event#3: Shot put
  • 7.26kgs shot/goal at a distance of 5.60 meters (three chances)
