Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme: Telangana State Government has launched a new scheme for the state women who are seeking financial assistance from the Government, the present state government has released the Mahalakshmi scheme to provide monthly Rs.2500/-, providing cooking gas cylinders at Rs.500/-, and free RTC bus travel. As of 18th December 2023, only Free RTC travel is running as active and women are getting free travel in the state in an allowed bus.
The new gas cylinder will be applicable from 28th December 2023 onwards across the state, those who already have an existing account in HP and Indian gas agencies can avail of the Rs.500/- gas cylinder. The scheme applies to new customers for the any of gas agencies.

Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme Eligibility
Every woman from Telangana state only.
No Other state woman is eligible for the state scheme under the Mahalakshmi.
- For Rs.500/- Gas Cylinder: Should have an Existing Gas registration book +e-KYC registration.
- For monthly Rs.2500/- Amount: Should be Telangana women of any reservation with valid Aadhar Card and Electrical Bill and Ration Card.
- For Free RTC Bus Travel: Women should be from Telangana state only.
Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme Age Limit
There is no such limit for the Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme, any age of women can avail the above eligible schemes.
