Telangana Gruha Jyothi Scheme 2024: Telangana State Congress ruling party has released the Congress Manifesto to fulfill the schemes in the state, in that the Gruha Lakshmi scheme aims to provide free 200 electricity units for eligible applicants. The electricity is free for those who are utilizing electricity below 200 units or up to 200 units. The current supply is supplied in the state within 24 hours (As of now). There are lakhs of electricity subscribers are utilizing paid electricity.
Telangana Gruha Jyothi Scheme is applicable only in the State for eligible candidates with the whole ration card and low 8 lakhs income for the reservation candidates, if falling below the poverty line with a valid Aadhar Card and electricity bill.
No Zero Electricity Bill
There are many applicants who not received the Telangana State Government Zero bill yet, so no need to worry about the bill; applicants can reapply at nearest municipal office.
- Those who have not received the Telangana Electricity Zero bill; then contact the nearest Municipal office along with supporting documents.

- Electricity Bill
- Earlier application submission acknowledgement receipt (Prajapalana).
- The current bill must and should be below 200 units then zero bill work else it not work either.

If your electricity bill is less than 200 units, then you have to fall under the free electricity. If your current bill crosses more than 200 units, then you have to make the current bill for the month.

Telangana Gruha Jyothi Scheme Eligibility
Applicants should have the following eligibility criteria for Gruha Jyothi scheme registration online or nearby Meeseva center;
- Should be a Telangana Resident (AP applicants are NOT eligible for free electricity).
- Should submit the Income certificate with less than 8 lakhs per annum
- Should have the valid electricity bill in applicant’s name.
- Electricity usage units will be less than 200 units every month.
- Must submit the Telangana Resident certificate else not eligible for the scheme.
Telangana Gruha Jyothi Scheme Selection
- Should be a Telangana native applicant.
- Scrutiny by the electricity department people for the validation/
- Should submit valid documentation.
Telangana Gruha Jyothi Scheme Dates
There is no such deadline for online or Meeseva registration. The last date will be finalized and available at the time of scheme active time.
