APPSC FRO Role
The Forest Range Officer has to monitor the forest area regularly task after collecting the inputs from the Forest Section Officer (FSO) and Field Assistant, regular report submissions to the higher department by daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Mostly, FRO should prevent unauthorized/illegal activities in the assigned forest area and it any discrepancies happen then immediately escalate to higher departmental for immediate action.
APPSC FRO Pay Scale
The Selected candidates are eligible for Grade pay Rs.5,200/- and Payscale Rs.31,460 – 84,970/- per month + Bonus yearly + Medical allowance + PF Fund + ESI + Personal/Planned/Sick Leaves + Other Engracia fund + Pension after retirement.

Qualification
Candidates must and should possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act or Provincial Act, or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification in the following subjects:
(I) Agriculture (II) Botany (III) Chemistry (IV) Computer Applications/ Computer Science (V) Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil / Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical) (VI) Environmental Science (VII) Forestry (VIII) Geology (IX) Horticulture (X) Mathematics(XI) Physics (XII) Statistics (XIII) Veterinary Science (XIV) Zoology.
Age Limit
The Candidate’s age limit should be between 18 to 30 years as on 01.07.2024. Age relaxation was applicable as per reservation-wise, SC/ST Candidates 5 Years, Ex-Service Man 3 Years, State Government employees 5 Years, and retired temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months were 3 years.

Application Fee
The Online application fee was for Rs.250/- for OC and OBC Candidates and Rs.120/- for other reservation candidates. Candidates submit the online application along with FRO Online application only.
Selection Process
The APPSC Forest Range Officer (FRO) selection process will be based on the merit-based offline examination in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number as per G.O.Ms.No.150, Finance (HR-I & Policy) Dept., dated:08.08.2016 and likely to be held on 24/02/2019. Instructions regarding offline examination recruitment test are attached as Annexure – III.

will there be any negative marking in prelims test
so there is no prelims for fro so the paper would be for 600 marks or for 150 marks as per prelims .should we prepare for general telugu and english
