Now AP Polices are using advanced technology to control the law and order in the state.

Preliminary Selection Test:
The AP Police Premininary test contain Paper-1 and Paper-2 with 200 marks both multiple choice and objective papers, candidates understand the complete variation of examination in both Papers.

After the above examination completed, shortlisted candidates can go for PMT and PET tests accordingly. The complete list was given below, candidates have to note down the complete PMT and PET details according to Male and Female candidates wise.
Physical Measurements Test (PMT) :
Male Candidates:
- Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms.
- Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 centimeters around the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimeters.
Female Candidates for Post Code 14:
- Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms.
- Chest: Must not be less than 87 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimeters.
- Weight: Must not be less than 40 kgs
Female Candidates for Post Code 15:
- Height: Must not be less than 153 cms.
- Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
a) For Post Code No.s 11, 14, 15 & 16: Men & Women Candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and one out of remaining two events as detailed below.
