AP Police Constable Eligibility

• For Police Constable: Candidates should have Intermediate qualifications as of the date of the notification date.
• Local preference is given to Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) candidates
• Should have a Local AP Residence Certificate (after the 2014-dated certificate).
• Should be Physical Fit and have No long-term diseases (otherwise candidates will be rejected in Medical Tests).
• Should fit as per Height and Weight (for both Men and Women candidates)

For SC / ST candidates – Should have a 10th / SSC as of 01.07.2023 and should appear in 1st year or 2nd year of Intermediate.

AP Police Constable Age Limit

There are many candidates who are waiting for the new age limit guidelines asp per the missing notification in 2019 & 2020. AP Police recruitment board may consider the candidate’s request to increase the Age limit to 35 years.

Because the Age limit increased to 35 years is important, it benefits many candidates who are waiting since the 2018 year for the new police notification in Andhra Pradesh state.

For AP Police Constables age limit should be between 18 to 32 years as of 01.07.2023 (Bron between 02.07.1990 to 01.07.2004), age relaxation will be applicable for the BC/SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PH Candidates as per AP Govt reservation rules.

• Widow / Separated Women;
  • (Not re-married) SC / ST candidates – Max 42 years as of 01.07.2023 (Bron between 02.07.1980 to 01.07.2004)
  • For other reservation candidates – Max 37 years as of 01.07.2023 (Born between 02.07.1985 to 01.07.2004)
  • Window women candidates should submit the husband death certificate.
