Minimum Pass Percentage
- For OC Candidates – 40%
- For OBC Candidates – 30%
- For SC Candidates -30%
- For ST Candidates – 25%
Selection will be based on the highest marks secured in the exam, those marks are must be higher than cutoff marks.

RRB Stenographer Stenography Skill Test
Candidates have to use the KrutiDev and Mangal font for the Hindi typing practice on the Desktop/laptop to succeed in the RRB steno skill test and English test, candidates have to use any related English font.

RRB Steno Translation Test
This skill test for the Junior translator post, where candidates have to pass this step by translating the Hindi language.
- 50% of questions for language proficiency
- 20% for English
- 30% for Hindi
- The remaining questions are designed for General Knowledge, General Intelligence, Simple Arithmetic, and the basics of computer tests.
The minimum pass mark is 60% in this translator exam.
Performance Test (PT)/ Teaching Skill Test (TST)
Teaching skill test in 85:15 ratio for all related teaching posts like Primary teacher (music, dance, and other related tests), the total number of marks is 100 marks.

This test for the 150 marks and weightage for the skill test is 15% in the total marks and there is a chance of skill test will be video-graphed.

Those who are from various fields like Music, Dance, and other skill tests in the Primary Teacher position have to give the demo of the performance test.
Document Verification
Once the above tests are completed then candidates called for the Document Verification Process and followed by the medical test. Once these two tests are completed the allotment for the post will be released.
Railways are announced new exam dates, which are likely conduct from 15th December 2020 onwards.
RRB will start conducting the exams from 15th Dec 2020 onwards.
