Eligibility of Candidate
- Candidate must have passed 10th class/12th/ITI/Graduation degree from Government of India recognized colleges/universities under AICTE or UGC norms.
- Candidate must be Indian nationals only.
- Candidate must have Aadhar card (The document for verification at the time of document collection time after two stages of written exam).
- Candidate Age must be between the 18-28 years (Note: Age relaxation for Reservation is applicable for reserved candidates for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates).
- Candidate should have Caste certificate for reservation seeking candidates, if not available, please go to any e-seva center or Municipal or Mandal office for more details of caste certificate.
- RRB 2018 said: Aadhar must for recruitment, hold the Aadhar document for complete recruitment process, whenever applicable. (If not have, please register as soon as possible in UDAI online portal or visit nearest Municipal office).
Application Fee for Candidates:
All eligible candidates have to pay the application fee as per RRB 2018 notification, all Open Category (OC) and Other Background Caste (OBC) is Rs.500/- and Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) have to pay Rs.250/-.
RRB 2018 Selection Procedure
The Railway RRB 2018 department conducting two stages of online examination to shortlist the candidates for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP),
- Stage#1: Online Exam (Common for all candidates, who applied with different qualification).
- Stage#2: Online Exam (Exam varied as per candidate qualification # two levels of exam, which is Part#A and Part#B).

The First Stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The score of first stage exam shall be used only for shortlisting of candidates for second stage exam as per their merit. Candidates who are shortlisted for Second Stage CBT availing the reservation benefits of a community shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process.
