If you don&#8217;t get a whole number, try dividing it by prime numbers: 3, 5, 7, 11 and so on, always dividing by the prime number (see table below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some features of prime numbers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Prime numbers are the natural numbers in which are greater than one that has only two factors, one and the number itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A number can be a prime number if it is a non-zero whole number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prime factorization is a method to find prime numbers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After 2, every prime number is an odd number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A prime number \u2019n&#8217; is not divisible from 2 to \u2018n-1&#8242;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any number multiplied with its smaller number (upto 2) is not a prime number. For example, 7*5 = 35, not a prime number. 7*3 = 21, not a prime number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From 15, numbers ending with 5 are not prime numbers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From 10, numbers ending with 2,4,5,6,8,0 are not prime, so the probability of prime numbers between any ten numbers is 0.4 (40%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One is not a prime number. Also, one is not used to determine the prime number as it is divisible by any number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An efficient way to determine the prime number \u2019n\u2019 is to check it from 2 to \u2018(n-1)\/2\u2019, not 2 to \u2018n-1&#8242;. For example, 97 is a prime number. Determine it from 2 to 48, not 2 to 96. As 48*2 = 96.
