NEET, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG), replaced all other individual medical examinations conducted by colleges and states and the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). NEET is the only entrance test in India for students who want to pursue UG medical courses like MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH.

NEET Counselling Seat Allotment Results

NTA has detailed eligibility criteria for the NEET exam. One of the essential requirements is the pass percentage.

  • Qualifying Test: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: 17 Candidates must have completed 17 years as of 31st December.

  • Eligibility Marks : UR – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40% and PWD – 45%
  • A student can make any number of attempts.

NEET Counseling Process

NEET counseling will continue in 4 essential rounds. In each round, a candidate has to clear it to qualify for NEET counseling. There are four main steps

  • Registration
  • Filling in the options
  • Seat allotment
  • Allocation and reporting to the University.

NEET Counselling 2022 Results

The authority will announce the allotment of seat results within a few days of selecting options. Candidates can check allotment results. Candidates will receive an SMS or email regarding course & college allotment. Seats are allotted based on the preference of candidates.

Steps to be followed in NEET Seat Allotment Result:

  • Mainly counseling registration, including payment
  • Exercise of options and locking of options
  • Seat Allotment Process – 1st round
  • Publication of Round 1 Results
  • Reporting against the 1st round in the allotted Medical/Dental College (free admission/exit option available).
  • Publication of net vacant seats.
  • Registration and new selection submission by eligible candidates for Round 2 (not required for already registered candidates).
  • Seat Allotment Process – 2nd Round (Exit option available with forfeiture of security amount).
  • Publication of Round 2 Results.
  • Reporting against 2nd round in Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutions (Candidates admitted in the allotted seat will not be allowed to vacate the seat in 2nd round).

In the first round of seat allotment, Candidates who got the seat must report at the respective reporting centers. Check the last date scheduled to report for NEET counseling. Candidates can register for the second round of NEET counseling, and candidates can lock their options as per the schedule.

The second round of seat allotment will take place on the notified date. Per the schedule, MCC will release the second round of seat allotment results on a notified date. Candidates who have got seats in the second round of seat allotment should report at the reporting center per schedule.

  • Go to the MCC official web portal (https://www.mcc.nic.in).
  • Go to the NEET Counseling Seat Allotment Result link on the homepage.
  • Fill in NEET login details and click on submit.
  • Your NEET Result will appear on the screen.
  • Check Result and Download NEET Page.
  • Keep a hard copy of your NEET application form for future reference.
